Wilton, CT, April 10, 2007 – Allegient Systems, a leading software and service provider which continues to set the standard in insurance related bill review, today announced that the company has launched its Independent Adjusters ASP Bill Review (IA ASP) program, the industry’s only web-based end-to-end bill review solution designed specifically for independent adjusters. Available for immediate use, IA ASP expands the capabilities of Allegient’s IA Bill Review solution (available since 2001) by enabling independent adjusters to submit electronic invoices to insurers; providing consistency of submissions, reduction in errors, and quicker turnaround of payments.

Allegient has proven market success with IA Bill Review currently in use by 15 insurance carriers throughout Canada and the U.S.. With over 3,000 adjuster locations submitting invoices to the service, representing over 1,000 independent adjuster companies, the system has been used to process hundreds of millions of dollars in independent adjuster invoices.

By designing the solution as a rules-based system, each client’s guidelines are incorporated to ensure the bill review process is both easy-to-use and consistent. With the addition of data mining and business analytics, IA ASP offers even greater value by arming insurers and independent adjusters with better knowledge for improved decision making and planning.
