Aviva�s new Hole-in-One insurance product allows tournament organizers to offer a cash (or equivalent) prize to anyone who makes a hole-in-one on one of the par 3 holes.
Aviva piloted their new product in 2006 and received valuable input from tournament organizers and brokers, which has all been added to the new product. �We�ve made the whole process of obtaining the coverage simple, secure and quick,� says Patrick O�Neill, Vice-President and General Manager, Wayfarer Insurance Brokers Limited, the MGA broker for this program. Hole-in-One insurance is now available to individuals and brokers across Canada.
The on-line quoting tool, available at www.avivaholeinone.com, provides a quote in less than 15 seconds, with coverage limits from $5,000 to $50,000. If the policy quote is accepted, payment options and policy documents are immediately available, eliminating the wait for documents to arrive from the insurer, something that brokers specifically asked for.
In addition, O�Neill says that broker input resulted in more competitive pricing, increased commission levels and optional items, such as signage, which clients can purchase for the event.
