Transformation Station makes doing business easier than ever
COLUMBUS, Ohio January 25, 2007 The State Auto Insurance Companies have eliminated an automation roadblock for independent State Auto agencies using Applied Systems agency management systems.
State Auto has implemented IVANS ®Transformation Station™, a routing service that creates a bridge between Applied Systems agency management systems and State Autos agency extranet, AgentSite.
Thanks to Transformation Station, Applied agencies will be able to process policy transactions and retrieve account information directly from AgentSite through their agency management systems, said Joel Brown, State Auto vice president director of personal insurance. Were also working to allow State Auto agencies who use other agency management systems to be able to take advantage of the same bridging technology.
Billing and claim inquiry, payment, and policy inquiry are available to all Applied Systems agents for personal and commercial lines. Endorsements are available for personal lines. In the second phase, planned for later this year, bridging of new business will be available for personal lines auto and home, as well as Wisconsin package policies.
Because of Transformation Station, doing business with State Auto is easier than ever, said Bob Restrepo, State Auto chairman and CEO. This demonstrates that were listening to our agents and doing what it takes to help them continue to provide outstanding service and support to their customers.
* According to Doug Johnston, executive vice president of interface services at Applied Systems, State Auto is another major carrier demonstrating the understanding of what agents need to do business most efficiently. Were excited that the company is extending the functionality of real-time interface for independent agents.
