Toronto, Ontario – October 17, 2006 – The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company announced that brokers using The Agency Manager (TAM)® across Canada now have access to The Dominions Broker Portal Update and Broker Portal Inquiry websites through Applied Systems WARP technology.

With a single click, brokers can now log in to either policy website, thanks to implementation of a data bridge transaction from TAM to The Dominions sites using WARP, Applied Systems real-time technology. This integration gives brokers quick access to current policy information for The Dominion policyholders, allowing brokers to respond faster to insureds queries and requests.

The Dominions focus is on making it easy for our brokers to do business with us, said Steve Whitelaw, vice president of Product Development for The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company. Implementation of WARP technology will provide valuable time-saving for our brokers, and is an important step in our larger Ease of Doing Business initiative.

With this implementation, The Dominion and WARP are leveraging CSIO XML standards in bringing new efficiencies to the broker-carrier relationship, said Doug Johnston, Applied Systems executive vice president of Interface Services.
