(Toronto, ON, October 3, 2006) – A new national consumer print ad campaign to promote Chartered Insurance Professionals will first appear in Canadian Business magazine on October 8th. The campaign also recognizes the importance of property and auto insurance by staging a concerted effort in CAA Magazine, Cottage Life, Reader’s Digest, Style at Home and Les Idees De Ma Maison.
The campaign developed by Canadian advertising and design agency Spyder Works Inc. showcases some of the different types of property and casualty insurance: home, auto and business that a Chartered Insurance Professional can assist you with.
“There are a lot of people out there who dont know that there are qualified insurance professionals called Chartered Insurance Professionals who have the education and experience to help them make informed decisions about their insurance portfolios,” said Carey-Ann Greenham, director of business development, Insurance Institute.
With this thought in mind, the ad campaign recognizes that most people find the business of insurance confusing and or frustrating. When buying insurance, consumers may not be sure which way to turn or move when it comes to their insurance needs. Hence, game pieces like the kind you play with in the game of monopoly have been used to illustrate this point.
“The new CIP designation ads featuring high impact visuals designed to draw the reader in, will raise awareness of this leading designation with consumers,” said Greenham.
The ads get the point across that CIPs are experts who have completed years of rigorous study to become qualified. As such, consumers should look for the professional standard, an insurance professional with the CIP designation to help them get the right insurance to fit their needs.
