Dallas, Texas (September 27, 2006) Applied Systems, Inc., is poised for continued growth based in part on improved processes, renewed emphasis on quality products, and a commitment to relationship-based sales consulting, according to a message delivered here today by the insurance technology companys chairman and CEO.

James P. Kellner addressed nearly 2,000 members of international user group ASCnet (Applied Systems Client Network) on the first full day of 2006 TENCon, the groups 21 st annual Technology, Education & Networking Conference.

Many TENCon participants are getting a first look at Applied Systems first major releases of core products since implementation of an improved product development process. That process, Kellner said, allows the technology company to focus on product enhancements because defects are dramatically reduced and regulatory/form changes are addressed on a timely basis.

Today, Applied Systems is all about growthgrowth of our business, growth of your business, and growth of the independent agent and broker system in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the world-over, Kellner told the audience of agency and brokerage professionals. Our sights are set, and were already hard at work.

Over the past two years, Kellner said, Applied Systems has evaluated its business and implemented processes and disciplines to refocus on quality. Every improvement, Kellner said, enhances the companys unwavering commitment to help customers protect their technology investment.

Kellner also underscored Applied Systems dedication to advancing real-time interface, pledging to continue working with agents, brokers, insurance carriers, and industry organizations.
