Unity Life of Canada Announces Administration Agreement With GeniSys

TORONTO, Sept. 8 2006 — Unity Life of Canada has reached an agreement to outsource the administration of an acquired segment of business from The Prudential Insurance Company of America to Toronto-based GeniSys.

The agreement calls for GeniSys to perform all claims processing and customer service functions for the Canadian Intermediate and Weekly Premium life and the Canadian individual health insurance business from Prudential, which is Unity Life’s single largest acquisition to date. GeniSys was recently acquired by Antares Management Solutions of Westlake, Ohio, a division of Medical Mutual Services.

“We sought out a company that could give our new customers the highest level of service,” said Tony Poole, president of Unity Life. “We’ve had a long relationship with GeniSys and we know the high level of service and security that they provide.”

While details of the transaction are not being disclosed, it calls for GeniSys to provide full insurance administration services on over 50,000 life and health insurance policies.

“Administering this book of business for Unity is a big accomplishment for our company,” said Scot Hopkins president of GeniSys. “We believe this agreement reaffirms our reputation as a quality service provider for the life insurance industry in North America.”
