Distribution Service Satisfaction Survey 2006 by NewLink

NewLink Group announces the launch of their inaugural annual �Distribution Service Satisfaction Survey.�

�This is a comprehensive study of the attitudes and perceptions of insurance distribution in Canada towards service support from insurers. The study is currently taking place and will form the base line for future annual studies.� said Neil Silverman, FSA, FCIA Executive Consultant.

Participating insurers will receive key insights into their primary customers� preferences, satisfaction levels and expectations. These insights will help insurers formulate strategic and tactical plans for improvements in 2006 and beyond to assist in effective business decisions.

Objectives of Survey:

  1. Improve each insurer�s understanding of their customers� perceptions of their service offerings, including how they are perceived vis-�-vis their competitors.

  2. Determine customers� service expectations, including service offerings, support, contact frequency, turn around times and accuracy rates,

  3. Determine customer service strategies going forward, identifying opportunities for Insurers to meet their needs

  4. Identify opportunities for improvement

  5. By comparing results of survey to NewLink Insurance Operations Study, identify opportunities for more effective use of resources and improved customer satisfaction

The survey seeks insights from all in the sales/service distribution chain � agency heads, marketing personnel, internal agency administration staff and advisors/brokers/producers � anyone involved in the sale or service of insurance products.
