MSB Announces Release of IntegriClaim Express 2.2

NASHVILLE April 2, 2006 – Today at the 2006 PLRB/LIRB Claims Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Marshall and Swift / Boeckh (MSB), the leading worldwide provider of building cost data and estimating technology to the property insurance industry announced the release of IntegriClaim Express(TM)2.2. The new release is a more comprehensive version of MSB’s powerful, Web-based claims estimating tool that gives users access to real-time restoration cost estimates via the Internet.

“IntegriClaim Express already gives carriers and adjusters a faster, more cost- effective way to manage their property claims,” says Kelli Chivers, Director of Claims Products at MSB, “and IntegriClaim Express 2.2 puts MSB in a leadership position among tools that process contents claims.”

IntegriClaim Express 2.2 is contents savvy, using unique Web technology to gather real-time pricing information from well known retailers across North America. Claims adjusters easily determine current contents prices, like kind and quality products, and replacement sources. As a result, contents claims severity is managed and claim cycles are shortened, leading to improved customer service and satisfaction as well as carrier profitability.

In addition to its virtually unlimited contents information, IntegriClaim Express 2.2 offers the ability to create coverage, room and item macros, cut, copy and paste line items between estimates and claims, manage receipts, track line item pricing and overrides and apply tax, record specific settlement information, and manage payments, attachments and notes.

“Web-based applications are the tools of choice for insurance companies and adjusting firms seeking to reduce total cost of ownership and predict IT costs,” explains Chivers. “More importantly, they are easily accessible to large numbers of simultaneous users and present managers with simplified data mining tools needed to make strategic business decisions.”

MSB’s IntegriClaim (TM) suite of property claims solutions is available on multiple platforms. Estimates are backed with the P & C industry’s first “total component” property claims database, which produces localized estimates representative of what restoration contractors actually charge for their services. Because of the flexibility of the Express Web platform, the claims estimating solution is able to be delivered on any Windows-based, browser-enabled PC or wireless device.
