New Study Looks at Future Predictions for Worksite/Voluntary Market

AVON, CONNECTICUT, USA (January 18, 2006)-Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc. has published a new Frontline Report entitled, The Worksite/Voluntary Industry Confidence Index. This annual report, which includes responses from 63 different organizations involved in this market (carriers, third-party administrators, and brokers), examines each participant�s opinions on the worksite/voluntary industry�s outlook for 2006. Future editions of the report will also look at trends and patterns in the results over prior surveys.

Overall, most respondents believe that the outlook for worksite/voluntary will continue to be positive. With regard to employee need, an overwhelming percentage claim that employees will be more enthusiastic about voluntary benefits 12 months from now. And many believe that these employees will keep their policies, as evidenced by the percentage indicating that current persistency levels and retention for voluntary business will improve slightly in the near future. Over 90 percent of the respondents also believe that their company will acquire more new groups in 2006 as compared to 2005.
