November 16, 2004 — Applied Systems Canada and Royal & SunAlliance announce direct, single-click access to WebBusiness and to Bravo, Royal & SunAlliance’s broker portal, from within Applied Systems’ agency management system, The Agency Manager® (TAM).
The new enhancement, called WARPBridge, allows brokers who use TAM version 7.1.1 to take advantage of an automatic connection to WebBusiness, client inquiry tools and other information housed on the Royal & SunAlliance portal.
“This enhancement makes it easier and faster for brokers to transact business in real time for their Royal & SunAlliance, Western Assurance and Ascentus policyholders,” said Shawn DeSantis, Vice President, Personal Insurance, Royal & SunAlliance. WARPBridge is the latest in a series of online initiatives that Royal & SunAlliance is offering brokers to make it easier for them to transact business including client, policy and billing inquiry on the Bravo portal and the real-time business processing tool WebBusiness. Royal & SunAlliance is also actively participating in the development of the CSIO portal.
“We are extremely pleased to have Royal & SunAlliance up and running with WARPBridge in Canada,” states Greg Purdy, CEO of Applied Systems Canada. “The enhanced single click access to WebBusiness and Bravo from within TAM is a testament of Royal & SunAlliance’s and Applied’s combined commitment to providing a more streamlined workflow for the Canadian insurance industry.”
WARPBridge not only provides direct access to Royal & SunAlliance without additional passwords or steps, it also integrates directly into the broker’s workflow and the existing activity tracking and logging systems. This functionality is available to brokers using TAM version 7.1.1.
