Our Round Table event scheduled for December 8th 7:30AM – NOON is shaping up nicely with key executives from the Insurance Industry accepting invitations to sit at the Executive Round Table. Participants to date are:
- Scott Francis Senior VP and National Claims Advocacy Leader with AON Reed Stenhouse; Scott’s primary role is to develop and maintain communication with the major insurers with whom AON conducts business and negotiate both coverage and quantum with underwriters on behalf of major clients. In addition, he provides catastrophic claims management, handles error & omission negotiations with insurers in conjunction with the National Broking Leader and monitors and addresses losses with relationship managers/originators. Scott’s responsibilities also include strategic recommendations based on trend analysis reports generated from claims staff on a national, regional and local basis.
- Brad Dance Executive Director, Business Development for Travel Underwriters; TuGo (formerly Travel Underwriters) is an organization established in 1964 to provide insurance and health care services to North American consumers. Areas of specialty include insurance products and services, health care management and international travel and medical assistance services. Tugo delivers the highest level of support when travelers face an emergency through a multilingual customer call centre and experienced travel assistance team. TuGo is based in Richmond, BC, with offices in Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, San Diego and Mexico City.
- Jerry Dalla Corte: Vice President, Business Process, Delivery and Information at The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company: Mr. Dalla Corte has worked in the insurance industry since October 1984 and with The Dominion since 1991. He has experience in both underwriting and claims, and was made Vice President, Claims in 1996. In January of this year, he assumed his new position. Mr. Dalla Corte holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from York University, and a designation as a Fellow, Certified Insurance Professional.
