University Park, IL (September 15, 2004) – Responding to customer requests for a faster, easier-to-use KnowledgeBase (KB), Applied Systems, Inc. today unveiled a new, improved version of its online database that allows users to get answers to questions without calling the support desk.
The KB stores data to help users address many of the most common support issues experienced through use of Applied Systems’ The Agency Manager� (TAM) and The Agency Manager� Vision Series�. If an online answer to a user’s question cannot be located, the KB provides a direct link to a support technician.
The new KB offers information specific to the product and version each user has deployed, eliminating the former KB’s requirement that customers wade through information on older versions of the agency management systems. Applied Systems has consolidated all of its former KBs into the current single database.
KB technicians concentrated on improving the new KB’s search functionality, providing more search options and a list of folders that can quickly expand or contract to enable easy access to topics.
