The Annual Toronto Insurance Fraud Conference is scheduled for Sept 27 this year. It is organized by the Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units – Trillium Chapter – and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners – Toronto Chapter. It will feature an agenda of great topics and experienced speakers. The high-light may well be the Mock Trial of an insurance case.
MOCK TRIAL – Insurance Case
The Annual Fraud Forum will feature a Mock Trial this year, involving three lawyers and three insurance professionals (two adjusters and an insurance broker), plus a forensic accountant —- all the non-lawyers are witnesses in the trial and are working insurance professionals.
