Solution Helps ABCC Meet Customer Needs For Personalized Benefit Administration and Quality Service to Partners.
Atlanta, GA, January 25, 2005 – DWL, the leading provider of customer data integration (CDI) solutions, today announced that one of Canada�s largest health insurance providers, Atlantic Blue Cross Care, has launched the first phase of its new Web-based enrollment application, using DWL Unifi™.
The Java-based application for developing real-time transactional business services enables ABCC to fully integrate the new application with its back-end systems to deliver key inquiry and update transactions for group and policy administrators and customer service representatives.
ABCC employees who are involved with the maintenance, processing and analysis of enrollment data are seeing major improvements to customer facing processes by getting up-to-date information on ABCC product offerings, policy holdings, participant benefits, and customer data and billing information in real time.

DWL Unifi™ is the user-interface framework powering the Web interface of ABCC�s enrollment application. The Enrollment System application supports ABCC�s policy administration transactions, which allows them to add a package or to change benefit coverage formulas and rates to an existing package.
It also supports billing related transactions, including billing status and customer-billing preferences. Finally the application makes critical real-time member-specific transactions possible, allowing ABCC to add a new member or dependent, change addresses, update member insured details and coverage selections, as well as update member or institution name, address and new party details.
