Getting Results from Outsourcing: Operating Model, Risk and Governance Implications

Seminar June 24 by iGATE

Overview:

Outsourcing today is viewed alternately as a way to reduce costs, a path to competitive advantage, and a threat to the livelihood of developed economies. While all of these views have merit, the rhetoric in all cases has reached the extremes. Meanwhile, many companies considering BPO or already involved in their BPO program are finding execution to be the most significant challenge. This session will highlight how execution allows companies to get results from their BPO efforts, and point out how those things that surround the BPO deal itself are just as important when it comes to realizing the value.

Issues to address.

  • How should organizations adjust their operating model to make the most of their BPO relationships?
  • How should organizations manage risks associated with BPO?
  • What does an effective governance model for BPO look like?
