Track on Lower Mainland leads police to thief, stash of stolen credit cards

2/4/2004 – In the evening hours of January 26, 2004, Boomerang Tracking Inc. received a call from a vehicle rental company in Whiterock, B.C. reporting the theft of a white 2003 Ford F-250. Within minutes of receiving the call, a tracking team was immediately dispatched to locate the vehicle, valued at approximately $42,000.

The Boomerang tracking team located the missing pick-up less than two hours later in a suburban street in Burnaby, B.C. and local authorities were immediately notified. At the scene, police took the driver into custody and also seized in excess of twenty stolen credit cards found in the vehicle.
