November 18, 2003, Markham, Ontario Allstate Canada has launched myallstate.ca, the first tool of its kind in Canada, to allow insurance consumers to manage their insurance information and coverage online.
Our customers told us they wanted to access their policy information electronically, explained George Hill, Allstate Vice President. Weve offered quote and buy functionality for some time now, but with myallstate.ca we have enhanced our Good Hands Network by offering customers the ability to manage their home and auto insurance on the Internet.
Through Allstates Good Hands Network, Allstate customers across Canada can purchase products and obtain services through Allstates professional agent force, online at www.allstate.ca or by calling 1-800-Allstate. My Allstate conveniently brings a customers data to the web, thereby furthering Allstates commitment to providing consumers with service how and when they wish to receive it.
With a My Allstate user account, customers can view details of their home and auto insurance policies. This includes information commonly found on policy documents, past payments, contact and consent level information, web requests, and stored quotes and applications on the Quote and Buy system at allstate.ca.
My Allstate is one of a number of Canadian firsts launched in recent years by Allstate, including a precise online quote and buy system for home and auto insurance, paying insurance bills, filing a claim and submitting policy changes. With 128 bit encryption technology, Allstates online services are secure and proven.
Through My Allstate, our customers can become more involved with their insurance portfolio, knowing that our professional insurance agents and representatives are available to support them and their family in person, over the phone, or online, Mr. Hill added.
