Industrial Alliance Launches its New Website

QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 25, 2003 – Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. launched its new website today ( www.inalco.com ) following a massive overhaul project that began in 2002. The new website, which is based on the previous one, combines improved content with an uncluttered presentation that is in sync with current Internet trends. The new site is more user-friendly, which allows for easier surfing.

“Compared to our previous website, the improvements and new features contained on the new version are numerous. Each will allow us to better respond to the needs of our clients, agents, investors and employees, who will be able to take full advantage of a website that has been designed using cutting-edge Internet technology,” affirmed Jean Routhier, Director, Communications.

Among the new features, a new section, Life’s Turning Points, gives clients advice on each stage of their life. This section focuses primarily on an active approach rather than selling specific products. In order to improve customer service, the site has more calculators, more online forms and more answers in its various FAQ sections. Financial analysts, reporters and investors will also be able to register their name on an e-mail distribution list (E-News Alerts) in order to receive new press releases and be kept informed of the latest financial developments.

The overall graphic design of the new website is based on the design developed for the Company’s TV ad campaign that was launched last fall. The home page and other web pages contained on the site were inspired by the new corporate image that has been used in all Industrial Alliance ads for the last year.
