Toronto (August 6, 2003) Canada’s largest association of professional financial advisors launched its own exclusive online job search engine today for its members. Jobs for Advisors on the www.advocis.ca Web site allows members to search and apply for positions that are tailored to their skill sets. Employers will also benefit from the new search engine that allows them to attract advisors who have already made a commitment to excellence in their careers through their membership with Advocis.
“The launch of this service is another example of the many ways that Advocis continues to look out for the interests of its members,” said Steve Howard, president and CEO of Advocis. “The Jobs for Advisors site will be particularly helpful to our student members – a promising group of up-and-coming advisors who have the education and the commitment to professionalism that will serve them well in this industry,” he added.
Developed in partnership with Brainhunter.com, Jobs for Advisors is a complete one-stop online job centre for both employers and advisors who are seeking positions in the financial services industry. The service allows employers to post jobs online, and for Advocis members to post r�sum�s and to search and apply to job postings.
During the kick-off months of August and September, the fee to post a job will be waived altogether to allow employers to try the new service.
