Investors Group, Great-West Life and London Life sign agreement with National Bank of Canada to distribute banking products and services

WINNIPEG, Nov. 6, 2002 – Investors Group, Great-West Life and London Life today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement with National Bank of Canada to deliver banking products and services through their respective distribution networks.

Under the agreement, Investors Group, Great-West Life and London Life will offer their 3.2 million individual clients banking products and services developed by National Bank. The range of products will include investment loans, lines of credit, deposit accounts and credit cards. The banking products will be distributed through more than 7,000 consultants and advisors across the country, under branding that is unique to the distributors.

Investors Group, Great-West Life and London Life confirmed that they had ceased discussions with CIBC regarding their earlier announced intentions to offer their clients banking and brokerage products and services provided by CIBC.

Aux termes de l’entente, le Groupe Investors, la Great-West et la London Life offriront � leurs 3,2 millions de clients des produits et services bancaires con�us par la Banque Nationale. Il s’agira notamment de pr�ts � l’investissement, de marges de cr�dit, de comptes de d�p�t et de cartes de cr�dit. Les trois soci�t�s distribueront les produits bancaires sous leurs propres marques, par l’entremise de plus de 7 000 conseillers partout au pays.
