Stone & Cox Ltd. and CAIFA formed an exclusive sponsorship agreement effective Sept 5th, 2002, allowing both companies to promote their products and services through each organization.
The agreement includes releasing and promoting the Stone & Cox publication, the 2002 Canadian Life and Financial Services Directory through the national CAIFA conference, CAIFAstore and FORUM magazine. This agreement also entails Stone & Cox promoting CAIFA through the Canadian Life and Financial Services directory and Canadian Insurance Magazine.
Stone & Cox released the Canadian Life and Financial Services directory at the national CAIFA conference. The publishers provided enough copies to supply all participants attending, including vendors.
Mr. Jean-Pierre Larda, Vice President, Corporate Communications for CAIFA and Jennifer Maloney, who handles the Sales and Marketing for the Canadian Life and Financial Services Directory; at the national CAIFA conference, held at the Ottawa Congress Center, Sept 28 – Oct 1, 2002.
“The 2002 Canadian Life and Financial Services directory received an overwhelming response through this exclusive sponsorship agreement with CAIFA. The National conference proved to be a beneficial way to market our product and contributed to the success of our book,” says Jennifer Maloney, sales and marketing for the Stone & Cox directory.
Currently the Canadian Life and Financial Services directory is being sold through the Stone & Cox website, www.cdnins.com and through www.caifastore.com. It is the only national directory published for this market, incorporating important contact information for many sectors of the industry. With more than 280 pages of essential information, it is an invaluable tool for practising professionals in the Canadian market.
Stone & Cox is celebrating its 97th year as Canada’s leading insurance publisher. Publications include the Canadian Life and Financial Services directory, Canadian Insurance Magazine, the General Insurance Register, Canadian Insurance E-NEWS, Canadian Insurance Law Services and the Brown Chart of Provincial Results.
Last month at the national conference, CAIFA and CAFP (two associations that represent the Canadian professional insurance advisors and financial planners) voted in favour of merging. Effective in January 2003, they will be adapting a new name, Advocis. The CAIFA Publishing Group publishes FORUM magazine, dedicated to members of CAIFA and CAFP. The next national conference is June 11-14, 2003 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
