Founders Award for Canada to Robby Robbs, Vital Innovations

Presented annually to the one individual in each region who most exemplifies the I-CAR
Volunteer Spirit

Congratulations to Robby Robbs who received the Founders’
Award at the ICAR (Inter-industry Conference on Auto Repairs) annual meeting held last
week in Salt Lake City. The award was presented to Robby in recognition of his outstanding
volunteer contributions to the ICAR organization. Below is the official citation from the award presentation:

2002 Annual Meeting, July 18 – 20, Salt Lake City, Utah —
It is said that behind every great man is a great woman. Although I am not here to dispute
that statement, I am here to point out an exception.

This year’s Founders Award winner for Canada is a man
of passion for the Industry, and drive for success.

I have great difficulty trying to put into words all this
gentleman has accomplished for I-CAR in Canada. Over the last year, while continuing to
grow and expand his business, he has continuously devoted countless hours to I-CAR.

At the Volunteer Awards luncheon at our Regional
Conference, I mentioned the definition of “Volunteer” which is – to give of
one’s own free will. This individual does not “give of his own free will”
for the recognition, he does it because he cares.

When the I-CAR Canada Board of Directors was dissolved a
year ago, the International Board created a seat for Canadian Representation. A gentleman
by the name of Robby Robbs accepted this seat with honour.

I want to publicly thank Robby for helping me accomplish
all we have over the past year. There hasn’t been a week go by that Robby and I haven’t spoken.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please join me in honouring this
year’s Founders Award winner for Canada, Mr. Robby Robbs
