InSystems and FileNET Announce the Integration of InSystems Calligo with FileNET Acenza for Insurance

Combined Solution Allows Underwriters to View Information and Generate Policies Within Acenza

San Francisco, June 3, 2002 – InSystems, a leading
provider of e-business solutions for financial services organizations and FileNET
Corporation (NASDAQ: FILE), the leading provider of enterprise content management (ECM)
solutions, announce the integration of InSystems Calligo with FileNET’s Acenza for
Insurance application suite. Using the integrated InSystems/FileNET solution, underwriters
using Acenza will be able to approve and submit policy issuance requests within the Acenza
application, eliminating the need to access information from multiple back-end
applications to complete the underwriting of a policy. InSystems Calligo will generate the
policy/contract and allow these policies to be stored or printed for the prospect, which
will reduce the delivery time to the customer, improve customer satisfaction, eliminate
the need for paper underwriting files, and simplify the complexity of policy issuance.

“Our alliance with InSystems is a significant
milestone in our strategy to offer our customers compelling solutions to meet their
business process management requirements,” said Michael W. Harris, senior vice
president, Products and Strategy, FileNET. “We are continually assessing our
customers’ requirements to ensure FileNET solutions meet our insurance
customers’ business needs today and in the future.”

“This integration delivers a ‘best in class’
solution that streamlines the relationship between insurance organizations and their
customers, maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty,” said Andrew Jackson, chief
marketing officer, InSystems. “We believe that with the addition of InSystems
capabilities, FileNET’s customers will deliver more responsive customer service.”
