March 31, 2002 (Toronto) – Ecclesiastical Insurance Group has introduced a leading-edge Web-based program from Insurance Systems Inc. (ISI) for all forms of personal and commercial watercraft.
Designed specifically for the property and casualty insurance marketplace, ISI’s WebWriter™ is a fully secure Internet-based software system that allows for online policy processing, from quoting to binding. Both personal lines and commercial lines platforms are available. The WebWriter solution combines rich features and ease of use with full back-end system integration to lower insurance company’s expense ratios, reduce errors and increase customer retention.
Ecclesiastical has been an underwriter of watercraft across Canada since 1981, providing broad insurance coverage for boats ranging from individual yachts to catamarans. It was looking for a way to move its quoting, underwriting and business processes online for the watercraft market.
