markets, announce a strategic integration partnership that will enhance commercial policy
management within The Agency Manager® product.
The integration partnership between Applied Systems Canada
Inc. and Tec4 Systems Inc. will allow brokers to transfer data from The Agency Manager�
(TAM) product to underwrite commercial lines of business within the Policy Works�/Broker
Edition product. The integration, engineered by Applied ConneXion, utilizes a real-time
XML transaction to seamlessly transfer data between the two product databases. The level
of information obtained fuses commercial policy data from TAM with the more detailed
commercial lines information in Policy Works.
Brokers who are looking for expanded services in commercial
lines can find the level of information suitable to underwrite and produce commercial
lines policies. With this integration, Applied Systems and Tec4 can provide clients with a
method to connect to a complete commercial lines product to satisfy a broker’s business
needs. Ideally, brokers can work within TAM for most of their business functions and have
the overall reporting of the policy written back to TAM for accounting and reporting.
This integration partnership is the first of its kind using
a true real-time interface to communicate between the two products. Jeff Purdy, President
