DWL will provide The ERIE with industry-specific portals and a transactional CRM application to create a common view of the customer across the organization and enhance business transactions with agents and policyholders. The solution will allow ERIE agents and policyholders access to sales, product and policy information directly from The ERIE’s back-end business administration systems through personalized user interfaces in real-time.
ERIE will go live with DWL Unifi Insurance™ for P&C Agent Portal as well as four additional portals for their property and casualty and life lines of business, all of which run on DWL Unifi Engine™, the framework for delivering application services that allow companies to rapidly deploy industry-specific transactional portals. These composite applications, accessed via a browser, will make The ERIE’s multiple administration and agency management systems appear as a single application tailored for agents’, policyholders’ and employees’ view.

Based on XML and Enterprise Java Bean™ technology and created expressly for the insurance industry, DWL Unifi Insurance for P&C Agent Portal gives agents real-time point-of-service capability, allowing ERIE’s business users to complete policy change, new business, policyholder portfolio and billing transactions directly with the back-office systems via a browser.
