that it was presented with the 2001 ACORD XML Implementation Champions Award for its
transactional portal solution, DWL Unifi Insurance for Life™ at the annual ACORD
Technology Conference held in Orlando, Florida. Accepted yesterday by DWL vice chairman
and co-founder, Justin LaFayette, the award recognizes those companies that are quick to
adopt the latest XML specification developments.

Last year, ACORD awarded companies that were early adopters of the XML specifications.
This year, ACORD asked all participants to implement the latest specification of the XML
standards. Companies submitted many different business messages for award certification
and only 31 companies have achieved the honor of being named Implementation Champions.
The DWL Unifi Insurance for Life solution is a set of web and wireless business portals
that strengthens carriers’ support of their key business channels. The portals allow
agents/brokers, customer service representatives and consumers to easily complete
front-to-back service transactions directly with multiple back-office systems in real-time.
