Survey: The Use of Social Media for the Business of Insurance in Canada How much is Insurance into social media? Mini-survey by Insurance-Canada.ca Social media is all the buzz, seems to be everywhere. But just how much are people in Canada who are involved with insurance - practitioners, suppliers, providers - playing in this [new] space? It is important to hear from everyone, whether you are an active or casual participant in social media, or do not socialize this way at all. The survey is very short - six simple questions. You will see the summary of the results of those who have already taken it when you finish (you may well spend more time viewing the results than it takes to do the survey). How much are we - insurance practitioners, suppliers, providers - into social media? Webinar: Social Media in P&C Insurance in Canada The central portion of this webinar was based on the results of this survey. The slides used for the webinar, as well as a replay of the webinar, are available here. Report 4: Products and Services Providers, on 15 August 2011. Although the survey respondents represented the Insurance in Canada spectrum, this fourth report presents findings for the Products and Services Providers segment here. Report 3: P&C Brokers & Agents, on 9 August 2011. Although the survey respondents represented the Insurance in Canada spectrum, this third report presents findings for the P&C Broker & Agent segment here. A future reports will look at Service Providers. Report 2: P&C Insurers, on 2 August 2011. Although the survey respondents represented the Insurance in Canada spectrum, this second report presents findings for the P&C Insurer segment here. Although the survey respondents identified with one of nine different types of businesses, significant numbers of replies were submitted for P&C Insurers, P&C Brokers and Providers.
