Insurance-Canada.ca Seminar Life Distribution Challenges and Technology Solutions Tuesday, October 4, 2005 Hosted by Insurance Canada
the premier Internet reference site for insurance in Canada
Join your colleagues on October 4 for a focused one day session devoted to the use of technology for life distribution. Brokers, intermediaries, insurance companies and services providers all depend on technology as they never have before. Raw computer technology has never been faster, or less expensive. The Internet has facilitated enormous changes in communications, at high speeds and low cost. People involved in insurance distribution, and their technology tools, are connected to each other for email, information access and processing purposes. Why is it that we are communications and information rich, but effectiveness poor? Meet with your peers to hear about the results of surveys and studies which reveal what brokers really want from their technology. See how illustration systems are evolving as they cope with changing technologies, insurance products and broker requirements. Vendors of insurance company systems are offering new functions to help companies add new support capabilities for those in the channels, while at the same time enhancing their straight through processing support. Others are changing the technology and processing landscape for MGA's and brokers. As all of these components grow and evolve, the challenge for many who use the tools is to implement them in a manner which truly offers some value, while providing a base from which to grow easily. Learn how the Canadian Insurance Transaction Standardization (CITS) group or project is tackling these implementation issues. The speakers for "Life Distribution Challenges and Technology Solutions" bring a depth of industry knowledge, a breadth of industry and technology experience, and a focus on addressing distribution issues and technology challenges as they help tackle the efficiency and effectiveness issues that we all face. Attend "Life Distribution Challenges and Technology Solutions" on October 4 to better prepare for the next steps you take. Register today!
