Insurance-Canada.ca Seminar Right makes Might: Marketing Challenges/Technology Solutions November 7, 2003 Hosted by Insurance-Canada.ca
the premier Internet reference site for insurance in Canada
Marketing is the plan under which we develop new products, take them to market and eventually sunset them. The high visibility sizzle captures our interest in promotions and branding, but the steak comes through well- executed development and execution of well-managed processes. Although present everywhere in today's wired world, When process is defined, technology can shine. Join us to explore trends in the use of technology in pieces of the marketing puzzle. "Thinking outside the box" helps marketeers bring fresh vitality to campaigns. Innovation can be applied much more broadly to the filed than in the creatives. Get those fresh perspectives as we explore ways of being more innovative and creative, in the whole marketing scheme. Who we target defines the opportunity. Data analytics applied on our own data is a good start and lots of marketing exercises start there. But outside demographics can be a real boon to differentiating and profiting. We shall explore the underpinnings of good execution in these areas. Getting the message to the prospect, be it new or existing clientele, is important to the good markerting and sales campaign. Traditionally paper media have been key and that focus will remain in many cases. However the promise of the Internet, with new vehicles for branding, and product and corporate promotion will be explored in areas like web design and e-mail marketing. An executive perspective adds to the understanding of what's happening today, by reviewing some examples of what has worked, and hasn't, and by sharing the success criteria.
