Marketing Insurance: A Technology Boost

Friday, October 18, 2002

Marketing drives the organization. It provides the skeleton for gaining advantage from the way we manage product development, partner with others for distribution of our product, undertake the sales cycle, and deliver on customer service. A good marketing plan, well executed, helps us identify opportunities, anticipate the market place, and deliver value to our customers and thence to our other employee and owner stakeholders.

Computing technology allows us to capture and analyse increasingly large volumes of data. This data is collected from many sources: customer information files, demographic information, transaction records, responses to marketing and sales campaigns - even navigation paths of those who visit our Web sites.

Communications techologies, the telephone and especially the Internet, have really grabbed everyone's attention. New forms of communications, like email and reports delivered through the web, are becoming useful now that they are better understood and people are learning where the real value points lie.

This seminar will help you plan your next steps in taking advantage of technology to support your marketing campaigns. Whether it is better understanding of your customers and prospects, or improved customer and prospect communications through your Web site or email marketing, or tieing the two together in a segmented marketing and sales campaign, our guest speakers have some valuable information for you.
