From Doug

Yesterday I was at Fort York, celebrating Simcoe Day and World Emancipation Day. John Graves Simcoe, first Lieutenant Governor (1791-1796) of what is now Ontario, was a leader for the times, laying much of the groundwork of this province. He guided passage of the Anti-Slavery Act of 1793, the first to limit slavery in the British Empire.

This week's newsletter notes two new leaders in Canadian insurance; the mettle of all such leaders will surely be tested in these interesting times.

Explore the innovative insurance challenges at the 2016 Executive Forum, “Turning Insurance Outside-In.” The final touches are being added – will we see you there?
