Secure Wireless Networks For Everyday Living: NCI.
Speak with anyone who really knows me and they will tell you that I have a passion for wireless technology. You can present me with any wired-network problem and I'll usually tell you a bunch of ways you could do it better, and more easily, wirelessly. If I can't figure out how a wireless network can do something better than a wired one, I can usually still tell you how a wireless solution can enhance what you've already deployed. That's just me.

Adoption of technologies that streamline transactions between insurance carriers and agents will continue to grow in 2010, as carriers look for ways to maintain profitability in a sluggish economy.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., January 26, 2010 - Recent IDC research on the intersection of Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, and collaboration shows that we are entering a time of significant cultural and process change for businesses, driven by the emergence of the social Web. According to a new IDC survey, 57% of U.S. workers use social media for business purposes at least once per week.

MIB Life Index Reports U.S. Life Insurance Activity up 1.2% in January.
Braintree, MA. - (February 11, 2010) U.S. application activity for individually underwritten life insurance increased +1.2% in January year-over-year, according to the MIB Life Indexsm.. January represents the sixth consecutive month where year-over-year change is positive for the U.S. Life Index - the longest sustained trend of U.S. increases on record. Application activity for the period December 2009 to January 2010 remained flat at +0.1%.

IIHS: First time Institute rates small pickups for rollover protection; only one model rates good in test that assures strength of roof.
ARLINGTON, VA - February 4, 2010 - The Nissan Frontier has the strongest roof and the Chevrolet Colorado the weakest among 5 small pickup trucks, all 2010 models, that recently were tested for rollover protection by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Frontier, also sold as the Suzuki Equator, is the only pickup in the group to earn the highest rating of good. The Ford Ranger is rated acceptable while the Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma, and Colorado (also sold as the GMC Canyon) earn the second lowest rating of marginal.

Although I generally watch very little TV, I must admit to more than usual right now with the Olympics being the draw. We caught the opening ceremonies - I thought they were wonderful. Thus far I somehow managed to tune in and caught the first three Canadian medals - I doubt I will be so lucky the rest of the way. Go team go!
