Itech Recognized as TEAP® III Registered

May 6, 2011 - Itech, an environmental recovery and restoration company headquartered in Brantford, Ontario, has been recognized by leading Canadian chemical and transportation industry associations as a registered service provider for dangerous goods emergency response under the Transportation Emergency Assistance Program (TEAP® III).

This third party verification process and recognition as a registered service provider confirms that Itech meets or exceeds strict standards for emergency response."

Under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, certain dangerous goods must be transported with an Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP). Hazardous materials require specific expertise and response equipment in the event of an incident or spill. TEAP® III is a recognized industry standard when selecting emergency response service providers by industry associations including the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC), Canadian Association of Chemical Distributors (CACD), and the Railway Association of Canada (RAC).
